Ringing in the new year!

Caden enjoyed some time with Grandma and Grandpa outside. They played with his new parachute. They would throw it down of of the deck and Caden would run and catch it! This entertained him for a good hour!


I just couldn't resist putting this picture into the blog! We were meeting some of Michael's friends for lunch and the boys were each enjoying a drink in the car.



I would ask where 2008 went, but I already know the answer! We were so busy with a new baby, work-related things, Caden's activities and a little move to Singapore that time just flew. Our home leave to the US has been wonderful. We spent the first weekend in New York with Michael's brother. His kids loved playing with ours...so it was perfect. Grandma and Grandpa McLary made the trip up from Virginia too. I got a lot of shopping done in the City which I was looking forward to doing.

We spent the last few weeks of our home leave in Virginia with Michael's family. Most of the nights were spent drinking wine and playing card games...so much fun! Michael got to see many of his friends and I got to see a few of mine. We spent New Year's Eve with one of my closest friends, Karen. We very much enjoyed meeting Kyle and spending New Year's with them in DC.
