Happy Birthday Beckett!

My little boy turns 5 on the 26th of October.  We celebrated early, as this next week is fall break for Caden.  Our family is traveling to Phuket with some friends.  It is a much needed vacation for all of us!

This year Beckett chose a Lego Ninja theme so I started planning this summer to buy supplies in the US.  He invited some friends from school, church, and our next door neighbors.  I made him a Kai Ninja cake with dark chocolate buttercream frosting and got orders to make some of his friends' birthday cakes for next year!  Michael was in charge of leading the activities.  In the end he needed help from the ladies to make the origami ninja stars.  The kids used those to do the 'Ninja Star toss' followed up by their favorite activity...the water balloon fight.

Beckett loved opening his gifts and has been busy, busy playing ever since!  Beckett says a very BIG THANK YOU to his grandparents who shipped his gifts over.  Here are some photos of the big day...enjoy!
