Though we were sad to leave our families behind in the States, we were tremendously excited to have the opportunity to live overseas in Asia. The day was finally here...we were leaving the US and flying to Singapore. The flight was 19 hours but by the looks of things, we didn't suffer too much.... I guess I should say, we didn't suffer on the plane getting adjusted to the time zone in Singapore was an entirely different matter. They say it takes one day for every hour...we were able to adjust in 3 days. With a 9 month and 2 1/2 year old those 3 days are long ones....
