Time for change...
Caden started PreK at SAS (Singapore American School) on Wednesday. We went to orientation on Tuesday to meet with his teacher, Miss Kathie Morris and some of his new classmates. The bus came at 6:50am so we have been getting up at 6:15am everyday this week. This was not an easy adjustment for me as I LOVE to sleep in. I am slowly becoming a morning person and really enjoy having a bowl of cereal with Caden in the early hours of the morning chatting about the days' activities ahead.
Both Caden and Beckett are swimming alone in the big pool with their teacher. This is a new development for Beckett as I was taking him to a parent-child class before. It is rather nice to not have to put on a bathing suit every Wednesday afternoon now! I so enjoy watching them try their new skills in the water trying to please the teacher.
Beckett is working towards being a diaper-free toddler. He has had moderate success. He makes it to the toilet when he is wearing his 'big kid' pants but fails to pull them down when he sits on the toilet...we will keep trying! On the bright side at least he is making it there. If we can just get him to pull his undies down and consistently poo there it will be a glorious day!
I have finished my training for my part time flexible job and will hopefully begin taking clients out soon. I hope to work at most 2 days/week showing new expats local resources for their families after they relocate. I think I will enjoy it:)
