Spring adventures...

The Spring was filled with activities from zip lining at Forest Adventure, playing baseball, trip to Garden at the Bay and gearing up for our summer travels back to the US.  Caden and Beckett really enjoyed learning how to trek and zip line at Forest Adventure.  The weather was cooperative during our trips there.  The leaves and branches of the trees provided a nice canopy of shade. 

Michael started playing in the band at church this year shortly after Easter too.  He loves playing guitar and it gave him a great opportunity to serve at church.  Caden and Beckett love seeing their dad play in the band.  They enjoyed graduating from their AWANA classes and I enjoyed wrapping up the year of teaching.  We will look forward to starting in September again. 

Beckett is finishing his time at Odyssey Global Preschool.  He will miss his friends there!  On August 14th he will start getting up with Caden at 6:15am to get on the bus at 6:45 to start Kindergarten at SAS.  It will be a big change for all of us.  I am not sure what I will do with all of my free time now that both kids will be in school until 3:45pm!  I guess I will have to add more to my list of pilates, tennis, AWANA, Bible study, piano...hmmm.

Beckett wanted to make Hello Kitty cookies for his friend Ella at the American Club.  I bought cookie cutters and we had to make 2 batches of cookies until they were presentable enough to gift.  It was the most difficult cookie I have decorated!  They were delicious and we think Ella enjoyed hers too..so it was worth it!
